From everyone I've spoken with the lugs are thought to be prototype X lugs, as they are made out of aluminum. That's why the chrome is so bad on them. Other versions I've seen are simply polished Aluminum.

They original green pearl covering is in fantastic shape (and has a fabric backing!). There were two extra holes added at some point where somone put a P-85 on it. I lifted a piece of covering from underneath a lug and made two nice plugs (check out close up of strainer). One of my finest plug jobs yet! <<
