- shell rounded, closed one x-hole, dents and scratches taken out, black Nickel plated and custom engraved with the "Thunderbird" pattern
- hoops: 4 x-holes closed, dents removed
- straíner: two new repro tensioning knobs (AK), new lever (AK), two new bolts
- hardware: overall cleaning
This snare drum once belonged to Mr. Jim Atwood (a former teacher of Tom Freer), principal timpanist with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra.
